Dear parents and guardians,

I want to share with you that I will be out Wednesday through Friday of this week for a medical procedure. In my place I have secured a highly-qualified substitute teacher, Mr. Norby. I have been working with Mr. Norby, who holds a degree in Biology, to plan for this absence. Most importantly, I have been working with your students since day one of this new semester to make sure that they have a deep understanding of the content and are well practiced in our classroom procedures. This includes using the online testing program SchoolNet, available through PowerSchools, on which the Biology students will take their first test on Thursday. Although I will not be present in the classroom, I will be logged in and monitoring their progress (in real-time) as Mr. Norby administers the assessment.
